Jamaican Dancehall Artist Bounty Killer is said to have made a wrong speech at a recent event
Rodney Basil Price, known as Bounty Killer, is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall deejay. Allmusic describes him as having been "one of the most aggressive dancehall stars of the '90s, a street-tough rude boy with an unrepentant flair for gun talk". GRUNG GENNA!
Now Being that I were not at the crime scene, I are not! and really can't say much on the incident...or pass any judgment on the artist
But based on the rotation of a clip that was provided and is in rotation from several sources...
all I can say is ...it's not a good look for the artist and his regular trademark killing tactics we have grown to accept!
So here is a preview of the incident!
Now don't get me wrong I'm not bashing or disrespecting the artist!
Because Bounty Killers is one of my favorites, mainly because he fights many things in the industry that I think should be fought.
For example ... The Killer despite many negative comments is known to be ignorant with a great heart.
And despite whatever he may gain in terms of lyrics and publicity from other artists, he has helped many to gain their place and status in the entertainment business
for this fact alone we will always respect the artist and his achievements!
He has been credited with having inspired many young artists such as Vybz Kartel, Mavado and Elephant Man and several other members of The Alliance. In 2002, a collaboration with No Doubt, the song Hey Baby, won Bounty Killer his first Grammy Award, for Best Pop Vocal Performance by a duo or group.
